Am I the only person who rolled their eyes when he suggested that humans and dinosaurs co-existed on the planet? I know he's joking but there are some morons out there who think the earth really is only a few thousand years old... This kind of thinking is dangerous, once you abandon the requirement for evidence to support your core beliefs you can justify anything even murder (with scripture); or can end up blindly obedient to authority loosing the capacity for any real moral agency whatsoever.

That bit of Kid Charlemagne not being a good tour name is wicked smart. So underrated.

I worked with a guy a few years ago who was 20 something, smart and funny and often made references that were from before he was born, like John with "Mel Torme". I've heard him make other references like that. He's just really smart and interested in all kinds of pop culture and other history. John also has a slight gayish edge that makes him even funnier.

Saw hype about this guy. I'm here to check him out. I can see more clearly why I don't watch SNL. I guess I'm not as white as I thought I was.

Stephen struggles SO MUCH without a script. Really pathetic.

It should be required that he brings Petunia Fish with him on every interview.

Maybe people complaining about Stephen’s abrupt interview style don’t realize he and the guest discuss where the interview will go before the show. They plan out all the stories, the punchlines are sometimes pulled from the guest’s stand up, and people are not naturally this interesting.

Fun fact: Geese and Swans have barbs on their tongues so that when they bite on something it can pull away. Let that terrifying image set in :D

We have a picture of when my brother, Stephen was attacked by a goose. In the picture you can see him crying and the shadow of the goose just standing there, menacingly. I don't want it to be lost on anyone that my mother at that moment thought "Hey, I should take a picture," and that picture has been standing above a DVD cabinet for 10+ years.

John Mulaney could've been cast as The Flash on CW and I wouldn't've been able to tell the difference.
