Neil Tyson started feeling tired or perhaps impatient while talking to a religious interviewer on God only after 8: 05. I can't imagine how Richard Dawkins manages for a long time.

Well if you Christians and jews didn’t alter the Bible than maybe it could have been no problem choosing between figueretively or literally.

  • Hamza Phoenix - 9 hours ago

Well I would really like to see neil talking about black magic , I’m sure he would have alot of idiotic things to say about it.

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one." Psalm 14:1-3

People need to grow up. God is as real as much as Santa Claus or the Easter bunny.

This is Satan working in Neil. He is so wrapped up in science until he can't understand the true nature of God. He's all about science and nothing else, so that makes him a atheist.

Without faith it is impossible to please God Neil.

Neil, you people teach all kinds of things that are not true. As a matter of fact evolution does not have one verifiable fact to support it since Darwin purported his natural ascent of species.

I have met demon possessed people and have seen people whole after the demons left. I have personally witnessed it and seen a man in a wheelchair with two broken legs, filthy, disheveled, unkempt with long hair acting like the demon-possessed man in the Bible but he couldn't even speak in comprehensible English. A few weeks later I saw him pushing his wheelchair groomed, clean, walking and totally well. I know this because I prayed for him and commanded the demon to leave. I left him there and had no idea what happened to him until I saw him pushing his wheelchair in a perfectly sound mind.

God made the stars Neil and your scientific version isn't very poetic, is it?

  • R.C. Google - 1 day ago

Neil will stand before God one day. I'd like see him explain his scientific theories then.

The reason people believe in god is because it is the easiest way of finding a answer, instead of looking for a logical answer we just look for some half ass way to just throw the subject out. And think about it, if god knows everything that we will do, is it free will? No...dear religious people, quit being brainwashed, earth would be a way more peaceful place if we did not have me

if you cant reach the pure truth, it doesnt mean the truth doesnt exist. if you suffered in your life, it doesnt mean your lord is not there to stop your suffering. if many religions on earth are exist and conflict together this is because of us as human brain will continue in conflict even they know the truth and malbeleif in any religion doesnt prove non existance of god. last, i cant expect nor agree that our genome which contains billions of our genes which is well arranged and organized it is just something appeared by chance and the DNA is just something flashed in universe due to gravity between its particles and if there is developing process from monkey to human it doesnt mean that there is no driver for driving the process and it doesnt mean the driver doesnt know what to creat that's why he is changing and developing what he is creating. understanding many things is proving that we are missing many things to understand the truth and what we see in many religions including christianity not all are referred from god as its true source but most of it is referred from human and modified by us over hundreds of years. escaping from the truth by disbeleiving will not rescue you from drowning befor reaching it. if you expand the human DNA as one straight line you will not beleive that the resulted length will be equall to the distance between earth and moon although this DNA is shrunken inside an extreme small cell and of course the chance which created the big bang has led alone to this miraculous arrangement, but there must be a mistro behind who is driving but we cant reach or understand him and we are trying to understand him by using our human brain although it is something beyond our brain limits and beyond imagination and beyond our capability to understand.

What is sad is that we call ourselves so much more educated & educated and yet blindly follow primitive ideas of God fashioned when life was much different. People lived under Kings - obey the king and be rewarded. A Good, powerful King will protect you, so it was important to swear loyalty to the powerful king. These were no democratic times, the Kings demanded obedience and loyalty and rewarded accordingly. That was the life they had and that is how they fashioned the Heavens - a King-like God sits on his throne in the heavens, will reward his loyal followers (believers get heaven) & punished the rest (unbelievers get hell). Simple primitive ideas of God for simple primitive people who lived in a different era But fast forward to the 21st century and here we are still following these primitive ideas! Amazing! The power of religion to brainwash the best of us. Greed for the easy good life, the fear of death blinds the best of us. Yep getting to heaven, the easy life is just a matter of polishing the right shoes, kissing the right butt - join the right religion, pray to the right God and presto! be rewarded with heaven! It's that easy! Yes that easy to make cheap and easy promises and guess what? There are billions of suckers!

Lmaooo this is so stupid, from a neutral stand point, not him or any scientists can explain the beggining of the big bang, but he'll start saying some random shit just to keep the show going, no one said dark matter is god lol that's dumb but you can't tell me that matter, time and space came from non existance to existance randomly, and for it to form unbelievably precisely that's just too much evidence that there is a higher power that transcends laws of science, the fact that we came from non existance to existance proves that there must have been an originator.. weather you want to believe in god or not Its a fact.. some scientists don't admit this bc they only admit what they can see, I can understand that but only to a certain extent, we barely know much about life anyway, but cosmos is the only thing ans ever was is so fkn dumb lmfao how can all this come from a beggining randomly ? Theirs 100% a god and thats allah, you don't even need scriptures to explain this it makes sense logically.. just think about it hard and you'll realize everything around you is way to perfect there MUST have been an intelligent design behind this.

The reason we even have science is because the belief in a Creator convinced people we should expect predictable and repeatable phenomena, consistent with having been designed with specific capabilities. If they believed something from nothing were possible, there’d be no reason to assume such science was a necessary part of reality, because then any anything could just happen no matter what processes were typically involved. This isn’t some Christian revisionist propaganda, non Christian historians acknowledge that the premises of Christianity were the greatest influence for scientific discovery being possible. People had seen for all of history that things happen dependent of specific reactions to other things in nature, but it wasn’t until people carefully considered what was written in the bible that experimental and repeatable science as we know it now started. Clearly just seeing a correlation with things in nature wasn’t enough to conclude there were more complex things going on, without needing to deduce there is a creator. Greek natural philosophy knew there was a dependent relationship between things observed in nature, which of course contributed much to the discovery of science as well, but they never developed methods of experimentation to discover the fundamental processes for how things work. The bible taught that there is order in reality produced by an orderly being who wants us to rejoice in his creation as a testament to his wisdom and power. This influenced scientists to discover how things worked. Islam taught that Allah could do and change anything as he pleased so there was no need to see how things worked in nature. Hindu religions taught that this reality is an illusion. Polytheistic religions had no reason to assume there was a consistently working universe, because different deities had designed different phenomena and were constantly in conflict with one another. There’d be no one keeping things stable and consistently designed if there were so many creators making things work any number of ways, and starting conflicts, leaving the universe to fend for itself. That’s why most of known science was discovered by Christians. Everything in the universe works a specific way because of how they are designed, and is why the vast majority of scientists who have lived were convinced that it's all more evidence for God. Bible believing scientist discoveries. Physics: Isaac Newton, Michael Faraday, James Maxwell, William Thompson. Chemistry: Robert Boyle, John Dalton, William Ramsay. Biology: John Ray, Carolus Linnaeus, Gregor Mendel, Louis Pasteur, Rudolf Virchow, Louis Agassiz, Edward Blyth. Geology: Nicolaus Steno, John Woodward, David Brewster, William Buckland, Georges Cuvier. Astronomy: Nicolas Copernicus, Galileo Galilei, Johannes Kepler, William Herschel, Edward Maunder. Mathematics: Blaise Pascal, Gottfried Leibniz.

He's a very eloquent speaker and well worth listening to , but his definition of God as that which dwells in the part of reality that science hasn't figured out yet, misses the point about religion. Science deals with the "how" of things : religion ( and philosophy ) are about the "why".
