TBrad Makes Perfect Corned Beef | It's Alive | Bon Appetit
Published on Mar 14, 2017
Bon Appétit test kitchen manager, Brad Leone, is back with episode 5 of "It’s Alive," and this time he’s making corned beef. Brad guides you through the process of celebrating St. Patrick's Day in style, complete with bagpipes, Guinness, dolphins and...wait, what? It may not technically be alive anymore, but we kind of just let Brad do his thing.
Join Bon Appétit test kitchen manager, Brad Leone, on a wild, roundabout and marginally scientific adventure exploring fermented foods and more. From cultured butter and kombucha, to kimchi and miso, to beer and tepache, learn how to make fermented and live foods yourself.

The editing in all of these are so good. If this isn't its own series, it should be. Brad is hilarious.

Good content. The video editing reminds me of a teen with little experience in editing because he’s uses too many editing effects. It’s ridiculous!

A few questions. I bought a 5LB brisket and it needed to be cut into thirds to fit in my largest vessel. I also only had two cups of kosher salt instead of 2.5. That half cup of salt isn't going to make or break this recipe, is it?

Why is this guy not on TV? Get rid of that giant tool with the sunglasses backwards on his head. WTF is his name? No one knows.

Haha, i only know it one way, the way my grandma makes it, and I have no idea how my grandma makes it, but I know it tastes good when she does make it. Sadly she hasn't cooked Corned Beef in a long time. I'll have to ask her if she's willing to make it again. 'u'
