T7 Animals We Used to Think Were Extinct (But Aren't!)
Published on Dec 24, 2017
Species that no longer exist vastly outnumber those that currently populate the planet, but occasionally we rediscover a species we thought was extinct!

You should cover the Tuatara. They look like tiny little dragons and are the cutest reptile! They have changed a far bit since the dinosaur age but they were around in the Mesozoic Era. They live to around 100 and it takes 10-20 years for them to even start breeding, and then still they don't stop growing until they're 35.

If some of the animals have the same structure they had a million years ago.. wouldn't that disapprove the theory of evolution? A species that lived that long should've evolved at least a few new abilities or structure.

THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING MARGERY!!! I have watched so many documentaries that never mention her, giving all credit to the fishermen for the discovery and identification!

every time someone gets all emo edgy about humans causing extinction and like literally the worst I will remember that 99% of the creatures that ever existed went extinct before humans were even getting started. Were also trying to do something about it and preserve life. The only animal to do so, suck on that negative Nancys!

I hate metrics. Waste of time using them if no one knows wtf 1.85422854 cm is. At least he could give an American translation so the video is more educational.
