Zortax sent us their M300 3D Printer and a pile of filament to create a project. Our family and cosplay counterparts, Jaimi and Rob, were crafting a Samus costume from the Metroid video games and wanted to 3D print the helmet. What a great way to try out the large build volume of the M300 and make an awesome cosplay helmet!

Britt this is incredible!!! I love the attention to detail and how polished the final piece is. With the XTC 3D, could you use this to create a hard shell and make a mostly Eva foam prop (with worbla details) more sturdy? Or is this mostly just used for 3d prints? Would you use the XTC 3D on a foam prop or the epsilon pro from a previous video to create a hard shell? Thank you! I'm so curious about this stuff

I actually think the day acrylic didn't do it justice. Seems too stiff, created a noticeable bend in the center. Looks fantastic otherwise!
