It’s funny cuz you speak like a yoga teacher.... but instead of saying “so we’re going to take a deep breathe in, and then we’re gonna let it out...” hehe, instead you’re talking food :) :P 👍

It'd be nice if you told how much flour and everything else you know an actual recipe chef.

If you bake in a glass pie pan, spritz it with spray oil, no need to preheat it, then add the batter and bake for 10 minutes at 450, then reduce to 350 for an additional 15 minutes, (or a bit more depending on your oven) your Dutch Babies will rise like they do in the restaurants. Your batter should be 3 eggs, 1/2 cup All purpose flour, 1/2 cup whole milk, pinch of salt. (2% milk won't work as well, skim milk is awful) Then add melted butter a squeeze of fresh lemon and powdered sugar. Sometimes I make escalloped apples to go with it.

Dutch and German are not the same. Dutch babies would be babies from the Netherlands, since Dutch is spoken in the Netherlands. In Germany people speak German (deutsch), which is completely different from Dutch. So this would be a “ Deutscher Pfannkuchen”. Which it isn’t. Deutsche Pfannkuchen are flat. Don’t know if this is Dutch or not. To me it looks more like Austrian. In Austria people speak German. They have a great Kaffeehaus-Culture. This pancake would go well with that.

Youre a dumb ass. Thats not a dutch baby. My parents owned a bunch of original pancake houses. Which is the original german pancake, or smaller version, the dutch baby. youre not even close on the recipe and you didn't come close to the preparation. I grew up making the batters and preparing them...somewhere in the 1000's. So everyone...this joker isn't even close!! Sorry, id say, nice try, but its not even worthy of that.

It's a very old recipe indeed...but the ingredients you will need are a Dutch Man and a Dutch Woman and then just let nature take it's course.
